About Me

Hi! I’m Jasmine Wilson, MA, LMHC.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I completed my Masters in Counseling from Palo Alto University. I am certified in EMDR by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), and am a EMDRIA-approved consultant in training for therapists. My areas of expertise include working with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, anxiety, panic disorders, OCD, grief and loss, family estrangement, bereavement, and chronic/terminal illness. I enjoy working with clients from many diverse backgrounds, and am allied with BIPOC and LGTBQ+ communities.

I completed my Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Appalachian State University and am a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Although I am not licensed as a music therapist in Washington state, I use this education and experience to inform my work. I am a trainee in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music.

I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients, and giving my clients choice in what therapy modalities work best for you. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems theory (parts work), attachment theory, person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), existential theory, EMDR, and narrative therapy.

When I’m not in therapy sessions with my clients, I enjoy being with my dog, hiking, running, nurturing plants, and finding/creating new recipes in the kitchen. I love treating my friends to home baked goods and fresh meals!
