Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidenced-based treatment that is useful in treating problems that are rooted in unresolved past memories. If you’d like to try EMDR, we will still get to know one another and evaluate if this treatment is right for you before proceeding. EMDR can be billed to insurance as a standard therapy session, and coverage would work the same as individual therapy. I also offer EMDR intensives for those who would like to meet for more than an hour, although insurance would only cover the first hour of treatment. EMDR rates are the same as individual therapy ($190/hour).
